Who doesn't love Ice Cream? Almost every one of all ages likes ice cream, especially since there are many choices of flavors. In Italy there is Gelato, in Turkey, there is Dondurma, in Japan, there is Taiyaki Ice Cream and there are many other countries with their unique Ice Cream. Well, in Singapore there is Uncle Ice Cream. Why is it called Uncle's Ice Cream? Because those who sell this ice cream are Senior Citizens. In the past, there are lots of ice cream cart sellers along Orchard road. Unfortunately, now the number of sellers has begun to decrease. After walking around enjoying the city of Singapore, my feet step immediately stopped when I saw one of these Singaporean ice cream sellers. Precisely in front of Isetan Department Store, opposite Lucky Plaza. In front of the yellow cart, many tourists and residents have queued to buy. I rushed to join the queue. The ice cream seller, who has been selling this legendary ice cream for decades, wears a yellow collar shirt, wears a mask as part of the health protocol, and uses plastic gloves when preparing the ice cream ordered by the buyer. So even though it's street food, we don't hesitate to buy it. Because the seller doesn't speak English, to make ordering easier, pictures of ice cream flavors and prices have been posted on the cart's body and table. So all you have to do is show the picture of the flavor variant you want. There are choices of ice cream flavors: Red Beans, Durian, Mango, Sweet Corn, Green Tea, Choc Chip, Peppermint Choc Chip, Chocolate, Raspberry, Vanilla, etc. Deftly, the seller immediately prepared pieces of ice cream in the form of blocks and immediately covered them in rainbow bread. Put plastic under the bread and then give it to the buyer. Prepare cash because payment is only by cash. The price for a block of ice cream from the Magnolia brand is only 1.50 Singapore Dollars or around 17 thousand Rupiah. The texture of the ice cream is soft, the taste is refreshing. Especially when enjoying it in the hot sun. The affordable price makes many people buy more than 1 piece, including me. My favorite is the Durian flavor.
Visiting Singapore would not be complete if you haven't tasted Uncle Ice Cream, which has been around since 1965. Interested in tasting? Cus.. immediately fly to Singapore 😊

The lion's head on the Singapore icon Merlion comes from the Sriwijaya prince from Palembang9/11/2022 Hi.... are you in Singapore? Surely this is one tourist destination you will not miss. Merilon Park has become a mandatory destination for you to visit while in Singapore. Located near One Fullerton in the CBD (Central Business District), it offers views of iconic Singapore. Here you can see 2 Merlion statues. One is large, (8.6 meters) which many visitors use as a photo and video background. The other small (2 meters) is located in a part of the park, not far from the big merlion. This 70-ton concrete statue was first unveiled in 1972. The Merlion is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish and is considered an icon of Singapore. His mouth spouted water, giving off a refreshing scenic effect. Do you know? The head of this lion-shaped statue comes from Sang Nila Utama, a Sriwijaya prince from Palembang. At that time he was on his way to go hunting on an island off the coast of Sumatra. When he arrived on the island of Temasek, he saw a lion. He was happy and believed it to be a good sign, then decided to build a new city in Temasek. The city is named Singapore which means Lion City. Sang Nila Utama became the founder of the Kingdom of Singapore in 1299. While the body of the statue in the shape of a fish represents Singapore's origins as a fishing village. Gaze at Singapore's most iconic hotel, Marina Bay Sands, a resort complex, ranked as the world's most expensive standalone casino property. This 55-storey tower is home to the world's largest infinity pool and casino atrium. The most photogenic pool, the infinity pool is on the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands. The pool is 150 meters wide and holds up to 376,000 gallons of water. Merlion Park is the perfect place to enjoy a typical Singaporean atmosphere. The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city where you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings while enjoying the popular light and water show at Marina Bay Sands. The cool breeze, amazing silence, and peaceful atmosphere make this park well worth a visit. In 2009, the Merlion statue was damaged by a lightning strike which caused part of the statue to fall and startle a group of visitors near the area. Finally, it was restored in 2012 and stands tall to this day overlooking Marina Bay. To get to this place you can use public transportation Bus and MRT. It is located behind the Fullerton Hotel. This place is always crowded with visitors. If you don't want to see the crowds of visitors, you can come early in the morning or late at night while enjoying the lights from the building across from Marina Bay.
