Every region or country in the world has its uniqueness, including Chiang Rai, the northernmost province of Thailand, which borders Myanmar (Burma) and Laos. There is a village called Karen which is known as Long Neck Village. Quite a unique name right? Here you can see women of the Karen tribe with long necks. The long-necked Karen tribe is a refugee tribe originating from Burma. They fled their country due to difficult living conditions and chose to settle in the mountains of northern Thailand. These settlements still maintain their traditions and become a tourism commodity. Its colorful landscapes and friendly women attract large numbers of tourists every year, who come to experience its cultural wonders. Upon arriving at this village, we will see each woman housed in her hut and seen diligently working on a knitting loom. From the time they turn 5 until their 21st birthday, every year a ring is added to the neck of a Karen woman. These brass rings around their necks and legs are not allowed to be removed, and worn every day even until they sleep. Of course, this automatically makes their feet very small, makes them walk very slowly, and have long necks. The brass ring on the neck weighs more than 4 kg, not counting the other large jewelry they wear. The more rings around the neck, the longer the neck of the women of the Karen tribe, that's why they are called Long-necked Women. According to the Karen people, the longer the neck the more beautiful the woman who wears it. Photo: http://www.longneckkaren.com/ Apart from being a symbol of beauty, the ring is said to protect women from tiger bites, and as a sign that distinguishes them from other tribes. Karen men were mostly field workers and farmers, and women have a rich history of crafts from woodcarving to weaving. To enter this settlement you have to spend 300 Baht or around 131 thousand Rupiah. Pay with cash. Its address is at 26 2VCV+P9G, Nang Lae, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai 57100, Thailand. With a distance of about 830 km from Bangkok, or 180 km from Chiang Mai. Open daily from 7 AM – 7 PM. Here we can also see lots of decorative knick-knacks made by Karen ethnic handicrafts, ranging from bags, bracelets, clothes, and so on. The Karen traditionally wear tunics and sarongs, which are hand-woven by female members of the family. They also like to wear turbans of cloth wrapped around their heads. The costume of an unmarried woman is a long, plain white tunic dress that reaches to the ankles. Meanwhile, married women wear brightly colored Karen-style sarongs and shirts with intricate patterns and stitches. If you travel to Northern Thailand, don't forget to visit this village, and take the opportunity to see the Karen tribe up close. Photo: http://www.longneckkaren.com/

For those of you who like shopping tours, especially those who like to go in and out of the mall, but want to enter the mall with a different vibe or concept, you can stop by here while on vacation to Bangkok, Thailand. Its name is TERMINAL 21. This shopping center allows visitors to see the whole world without having to show a passport or visa. From the name alone, it sounds unique. Because when you hear the word “Terminal”, what you definitely imagine is a place or base that is used to arrange arrivals and departures, pick up and drop off people and/or goods, and change modes of transportation. Terminal 21 is one of the most famous shopping centers in Bangkok. You can see the theme of the airport or terminal as soon as you enter the Mall. This is because the signboard inside the Mall reads Arrival and Departure in the names of cities in other countries. Not only signboards but each floor of the mall is also decorated with ornaments that represent certain countries according to the instructions on the signboard. The signboard in front of the escalator makes visitors feel like they are going in and out of the city in other countries when they want to go down the escalator. Consists of 6 floors. What can we find on each floor? On the LG floor is the Caribbean. This floor has all the colors of the Caribbean as well as beaches, anchors, and lighthouses. You'll feel like you're sipping a drink on a distant beach as you explore the lower floors. There are many banks here, so you can take cash if you want to buy some souvenirs. On the G floor is Rome. Decorated like classic Rome, with marble and magnificent statues. Even the bathroom has a large Roman fountain in the center. M floor is Paris. If you've never been to the romantic capital of the world to see the Eiffel Tower for yourself, you can check out the rather beautiful representation of Terminal 21, as well as France's famous Arc de Triomphe. The 1st floor is Tokyo. You will feel like you are in one of the most charming and exclusive markets in Japan. On this floor, we feel like we are walking in the alley of a Tokyo shopping center with its signature lights. Oh yes, when we enter the toilet, we feel like we are in the Tokyo Rest Area, you know. The 2nd floor is London. In the real world, the trip from Tokyo to London would take hours but with your Terminal 21 passport you can get there in minutes and the Japanese statues downstairs will be replaced with dark red telephone booths in London. The most interesting part has to be the life-size double-decker bus that sits right between the shops. The 3rd floor is Istanbul. When else in a matter of minutes you can move from London directly to Istanbul, Turkey. The 4th floor is the City of San Francisco. Here you will find the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and California-style trams. The 5th floor is the San Francisco Harbor. Here is the best Food Court in all of Bangkok! You can choose from several Thai specialties, served in an instant. With large portions and low prices. The 6th floor is Hollywood. On this floor is one of the best cinemas in Bangkok decorated in old Hollywood style. The perfect place to end your Terminal 21 exploration. Strolling through Terminal 21 is one of the most enjoyable ways to spend an afternoon sipping a cold cup of Thai tea. You don't have to shop, visitors can turn every corner of the place into an instagramable photo and video spot. Free Wifi facilities and a place to charge cell phones for free are also available here, so you can quickly share your photos and videos while in Terminal 21. The mall, which is located at 88 Soi Sukhumvit 19, Khlong Toei Nuea, Thawi Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand is open every day from 10 am to 10 pm.
Its location is right in the heart of Bangkok, making it easy for visitors to come to this mall. Just take BTS and get off at Asok station or take the MRT and get off at Sukhumvit station. Jalan kaki keluar lewat “Exit” trus ambil jalur Sukhumvit 23, keluar eskalator ambil kanan… nyampe deh tempat penginapannya heheh: Wellness Residence --- pas bersebrangan dengan Terminal 21 Mall
Next: Menuju KHAOSAN ROAD Disini sama seperti Kuta atau Legian Bali. house musik dimana-mana, bir, pub, bertebaran. bule bule juga tumpah ruah disini. di khao san road banyak sekali tempat pijat dan tidak terlalu mahal. 100 baht untuk setengah jam. tapi jangan kaget kalo pijatnya dipinggir jalan jadi disediain kursi kursi banyak diluar. jangan khawatir juga misalpun mau pijat seluruh badan di thailand tidak perlu buka baju. pakai baju biasa saja tapi pijatannya mantep banget. apalagi kalau habis capek jalan seharian. haihhh......enaknyaaa..... >.< Dari Khaosan Road kita pun melanjutkan perjalanan ke: Mah Boon Krong (MBK), “The Most Visited Mall in Bangkok”.

Me with Albert Einstein “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning” Albert Einstein published many groundbreaking scientific theories during his career, including the special and general theories of relativity, and the concept of mass-energy equivalence (E = mc2) Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter,[2] also known simply as Beyoncé (/biˈjɒnseɪ/ bee-YON-say; born September 4, 1981), is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas and performing in singing and dancing competitions as a child, she began her music career as lead singer of R&B girlgroup Destiny's Child.
